Tool 20 — Food & Stay
What Türkiye's "5-star" actually delivers — and where it's a self-declared label.
Türkiye's hotel star rating is widely regarded as one of the loosest in the world. A "5-star" in Antalya's all-inclusive belt can be a 1980s building renovated twice; a "3-star" in Şirince can be a quiet boutique that European reviewers would call 4+. The rating also doesn't capture what 90% of reviews complain about: noise, breakfast quality, A/C working or not. This tool helps you read between the stars.
