What this solves

Turkey's KDV (KDV) is 18–25% on most goods. Tourists from non-EU countries can claim KDV iade at the airport via Global Blue, Planet, or the official Tax-Free kiosk. Most guides say "you'll get 8–12% back" but never mention the platform commission (often 25–35%), the kiosk handling fee (₺250–400 per transaction), and the minimum purchase threshold. This tool nets all of that.

Some categories (food, services, books) are excluded entirely.
Shop must be a registered Tax-Free retailer (look for the sticker). Many small bazaars are not.
Refunds above ₺10,000 require proof of identity + boarding pass; allow 30 min at the kiosk.

What's the minimum purchase?

Per receipt: ₺3,500 (2026). Below this the kiosk won't process. Multiple receipts can be combined if each is above the threshold.

Card vs cash refund?

Card refund: ~3% commission. Cash refund: ~6% commission + 6% FX haircut. Card wins for big amounts, cash for small.

Do I have to show the goods at customs?

Yes — keep tags on, keep receipts, keep goods in your hand luggage or accessible. Customs can refuse refund if they suspect resale.
