Tool 02 — Transport
Compare operators on the same route, with comfort tier, food, and wifi folded in.
Turkey's intercity bus market is unusually developed — 50+ operators, intense competition on every trunk route, and a real quality tier (standard 2+1 vs deluxe 1+1). Most comparison sites only show you the headline ticket price. This tool folds in the things that change a 7-hour ride: seat pitch, on-board service, transfer windows, and the few routes where one operator genuinely has the road sewn up.
| Operator | Tier | Hours | Est. price (per pax) | Sub-total | Best for |

Prices shown are 2026 averages collected from operator sites and Obilet in the first half of the year. Actual fares fluctuate by ±15% on weekends, holidays (Kurban Bayramı, ramadan sonu, school breaks), and departure time (overnight buses are often cheaper).

Yes — FlixBus partners with local operators and uses the same fleet. Prices are often lower but the bus quality and refund policy are operator-dependent. Check the partner name on your booking.
For overnight Istanbul→Cappadocia in peak season, 7+ days early is wise. For midweek, 1–2 days is enough. Last-minute seats are sometimes discounted.
30 minutes for domestic, 45 minutes for international. The otogars are large; allow time to find the right platform. Istanbul's Esenler otogar has metro access on the M7 line — much easier than driving.
